The Toronto Apothecary's Community Wellness is an amazing program to be a part of. As someone with a disability who is on a fixed income, without this program, I would never have been able to access the services Dr. Hunter and her wonderful colleagues have to offer. It is an incredible opportunity for people in the community who struggle to find compassionate and continuing care for issues that traditional medicine cannot always address. I believe that this program is highly beneficial to many deserving people, and I would like to thank the incredible team at Toronto Apothecary for doing such meaningful work in the community!

My experience with The Toronto Apothecary was exceptional. Having changed provinces just before the pandemic hit, I found myself in a precarious situation financially. I was lucky enough to hear about the program they offered and so, I called them. I was then put in contact with Dr. Kate who was so helpful with her vast knowledge of natural remedies. She put me at ease right away, I never felt any judgment, quite the contrary, I felt understood and cared for. I would like to thank the whole team from the Toronto Apothecary and I am certainly looking forward to using their services now that my financial situation has improved. 

I am very happy with the excellent diagnostic and nutritional care that Dr. Hunter consistently provides, and I’m very grateful for Toronto Apothecary’s access to high quality supplements that l require but would not otherwise be able to afford. I sincerely hope that more therapeutic nutritional products and services can be added to this terrific practice's current offerings. They have definitely earned my loyalty!  

I've truly appreciated the access to care that I've received from The Apothecary Inc. and Dr. Awet. The Community Wellness Program gave me the ability to see Dr. Awet for my issues with the frequency needed, despite me not having extended health care coverage for the costs. It was the ability to not have to decide "if and when", this program made sure it was accessible. Thank you.

The Wellness Program has allowed me to access services that seemed out of reach for my family and I. Due to our financial situation as a family unit, having a naturopath seemed unattainable. With this program, my family and I have been able to not only have care that is aligned with our values and beliefs but it also opened up chiropractic care which was also not available to due to finances.I cried my first visit because I finally felt like I was getting the care I needed. Especially as a Black woman of Caribbean roots it’s important that my care is natural, herbal and closely followed. I appreciate the level of customer care I receive. I have never been treated differently being in the program. I have been welcomed as a client so kindly that I knew my sister and mom would benefit from this amazing program. I can’t express what this has done for my family. This program is NEEDED for so many people and I hope that I can continue to have access to high quality care at prices that I can honestly afford
